The new Home Office English Language Test is coming!

What is the HOELT?

  

The UK Home Office is introducing a new Home Office English Language Test (HOELT) to replace ALL current Secure English Language Tests (SELTs). From December 2026 the new HOELT will replace the IELTS Life Skills, Skills for English, Trinity ISE II, LanguageCert, and all current SELT tests for UK visas.
